Iran’s Steel Production Conqured World Crisis

According to the report released by World Steel Association, global economic recession has caused a decline in steel production in 17 countries, reported by IMIDRO's PR.
Among 20 leading steel maker countries merely Iran, China, and India have succeded in conquring the crises. The production of steel in aforementioned countries even witnessed an increase in 2009.
Steel fabrication in Iran reached to 9,122,000 tons since Jan. to Oct. 2009 indicating 11.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
The rate of steel production in China during this period was 10%, while in India the rate is less than 1%.
17 out of 20 largest world steel making countries encountered a sharp reduction in steel production in this period.
Steel production rate in Japan, USA, Rissia, South Korea, German, England, and Ukrain has decreased 32%, 43%, 22%, 12%, 34% and 27% , respectively.
Iran has witnessed a success in steel production growth while the world's total steel output in the first 10 months of this year has droped 13.6%.
