Esfahan Steel Co’s Agglomeration Plan Reached 90% Progress

The progress of Esfahan Steel Co’s agglomeration plan was remarkable in recent months, and now the project has reached 90 percent of development.

In a meeting with Chairman of IMIDRO, Managing Director of Esfahan Steel Co. noted that so far the progress of projects such as coke making, agglomeration, power plants, side installations and prerequisites have been 7/67, 9/89, 25/92 percent, 96 percent and 19/92, respectively.

Referring to the construction of two 55 MW thermal power plant units, Safar Ali Barati asserted: “The engineering development of the project is 98.8 percent and it is predicted that the project will be exploited as of January 2011.”
